What is Private/Incognito Mode?

  • A browser mode that doesn’t save your browsing history, cookies, or login information after you close the session.

For Windows Users (Chrome/Edge)

  1. Open Private/Incognito Mode:

    • In Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + N.
    • In Edge, press Ctrl + Shift + P.
  2. Use for Sensitive Browsing:

    • Enter private mode to log in to personal accounts on shared computers or browse without saving history.

For Mac Users (Safari/Chrome)

  1. Open Private Mode:

    • In Safari, click File > New Private Window.
    • In Chrome, press Command + Shift + N.
  2. Verify Privacy Settings:

    • Private mode only hides activity from your device, not your network or ISP. Use a VPN for full privacy.
