For Windows Users

Check Power Connections:
- Ensure the power cable is securely plugged into your computer and wall outlet.
- Test with a different outlet or charger if possible.

Inspect the Battery Icon:
- Hover over the Battery icon in the taskbar to check the charging status.

Restart Your Computer:
- Click Start > Power > Restart to refresh power management.

Run the Power Troubleshooter:
- Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other Troubleshooters.
- Select Power and follow the prompts to diagnose the issue.

Update Battery Drivers:
- Open Device Manager by typing it into the Start Menu search bar.
- Expand Batteries, right-click Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery, and select Update Driver.

Contact IT or Manufacturer:
- If the battery still won’t charge, contact IT support or the device manufacturer for assistance.
For Mac Users

Check Connections:
- Ensure the charger is securely connected to the Mac and power outlet.
- Try another charger or outlet if available.

Inspect Battery Status:
- Click the Battery icon in the menu bar.
- If it says Not Charging, disconnect and reconnect the charger.

Reset the SMC (System Management Controller):
- For Macs with Intel Processors:
- Shut down the Mac.
- Hold Shift + Control + Option and the Power button for 10 seconds.
- Release all keys, then press the Power button to turn the Mac back on.
- For M1 or M2 Macs: Restart the device as SMC is not applicable.
- For Macs with Intel Processors:
