For Windows Users

Check Power Supply:
- Ensure your laptop is plugged in, or your desktop power cable is securely connected.
- Test another power outlet or charger if possible.

Force Restart:
- Hold the Power button for 10–15 seconds to perform a hard restart.

Disconnect External Devices:
- Unplug all USB devices, monitors, and other peripherals.
- Turn on the computer to check if an external device is causing the issue.

Check for Beeping Sounds or Lights:
- Refer to your computer’s manual for what these signals mean and follow troubleshooting steps.

Boot from Recovery Media:
- Insert a Windows installation USB or DVD and boot into recovery mode.
- Select Repair Your Computer and follow prompts for troubleshooting.
For Mac Users

Check Power Supply:
- Ensure your MacBook is connected to a charger.
- Check that the power adapter and cable are securely plugged in and not damaged.

Perform an SMC Reset (For MacBooks):
- For Macs with T2 Security Chip:
- Shut down the Mac.
- Hold Shift + Control + Option and the Power button simultaneously for 10 seconds, then release.
- Turn on the Mac.
- For Macs Without T2 Chip:
- Shut down the Mac.
- Disconnect the charger for 15 seconds, then reconnect and turn it on.
- For Macs with T2 Security Chip:

Start in Safe Mode:
- Turn on your Mac and immediately press and hold the Shift key.
- Release the key when the login screen appears.

Boot into Recovery Mode:
- Turn off your Mac.
- Turn it on and immediately press and hold Command + R until the Apple logo appears.
- Select Disk Utility > First Aid to check for disk errors.
