How Do I Restart or Force Quit a Frozen Application?

For Windows Users

1. Force Quit with Task Manager:

   • Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
   • Go to the Processes tab, select the frozen app, and click End Task.

2. Restart the App:

   • Reopen the app from the Start Menu or desktop shortcut.

3. Restart Your Computer (If Needed):

   • Click Start > Power > Restart if the app continues to freeze.

For Mac Users

1. Force Quit from Menu:

   • Press Command + Option + Esc.
   • Select the frozen app and click Force Quit.

2. Use Activity Monitor:

   • Open Activity Monitor from Applications > Utilities.
   • Select the app, then click Stop (X).

3. Restart Your Mac (If Needed):

   • Click the Apple Menu > Restart if the app keeps freezing.
